Someone went through back to 88-89 to see who wouldn’t have qualified under the rule. The 65 game stuff really didn’t start becoming noticeable until 17-18

It’s a dirty game. Sit players out, get them use to sitting out, then hit them with this 65 game shyt, Cade is at 61, but Detroit def kept him out of a few games this year he could have played

No Cade sat out a few games due to nagging issues. If he didn’t sit out those games he would have 65.

There 100% should be exceptions to the rule. He was clearly on his way to 1st team all nba. Let’s say he got injured in January and missed a chunk of games I’d understand, but getting injured in March when you sitting at 61 games is tough
