I think I would've just thrown a bunch of money at Donald Fehr :yeshrug:

He seems to get results for the players.
They'll never learn.

Oh she a Knicks fan? :obama: She'll do just fine. On a side note, this is huge for the players. Really hope they get all they can.

Owners gonna want a hard cap (fine), but take the lid off player maxes while still keeping the vet minimum based on years of service. Win Win for both expecially since the cap would be pretty high anyway when the new CBA hits.

Something seemed fishy reading the information about the meeting on twitter. It seems none of the players or player reps had any idea who any of the candidates were. They were introduced to all of them for the first time last night. After getting their presentations they were asked to turn around and vote 30 minutes after hearing their presentations. They limited the vote to only team player reps and the executive committee. The executive committee strongly were pushing for her to win.

Stackhouse thought they should have more time to learn about the candidates and more time to decide if they want any of the candidates or to consider others.

If that's true no wonder the players lose all the damn time :heh: 30 minutes to choose who's gonna run your association? I spend more time deciding what I'm going to cook for dinner

He has clients whom are willing to strike and sit out a season.

Im assuming the top dudes in the Union have been working on this a lot longer than 1 day. They picked who they wanted and just made the players who probably pay lil attention to this sh1t vote right away. Someone who is comfortable in a court room can be a plus. I dont know how much negotiating finances she does doe. I would've picked that Screen Actors Guild lawyer. They have yo go to battle wit Jews all the time

The players don't even bother to show up for stuff like this. I mean... they got lucky with the hire, but this kind of attitude towards their own money and future - as well as the future of players that are gonna follow behind them - really shows how complacent and pacified they are.

public defender, not prosecutor

i'm not sure how you got " he thinks she's a prosecutor" out of that.....being a public defender in DC during the crack era, isn't exactly a selling point.

:usure: I defended many of the nikkas who went to prison in DC during the 80's....i'm well qualified to respresent you NBA nikkas :heh:
