NCAA reopening investigation into UNC academic fraud

They need to do an investigation of the entire ACC. The conference is a corrupt joke with academic cheats from Syracuse to Blacksburg to Miami. Only school I'm sure that's legit is Georgia Tech. All the other "schools" can fry in hell for cheating of this magnitude.

Fact is, Maggs took payments from an AAU coach--around 2k all told--and he came clean. Duke didn't know he took a damned thing about them payments before Maggs signed his LOI or while he was playing, and they turned ALL of Maggs files over to the NCAA for its investigation.

Now, if the NCAA wants to rule Maggs ineligible and strip Duke's Final Four appearance in 1999. COOL! I don't care. Ain't like we won it.

But, don't act like Duke paid him...don't act like Duke knew he was paid...don't act like he didn't take his ass to class while he was at Duke...don't act like Duke helped him cheat. None of that happened.

schools get done up for just this very thing. He was an ineligible player. Lost his amateur status the moment he took that money. Memphis got in it for Derrick Rose not being able to read.

Duke should have been placed on probation and vacated that season. I know it woulda been a minor slap on the wrist, but I am petty.

Didn't know all the details behind it....interesting.....

But my thing is the NCAA is too inconsistent. Of course the Maggette situation should have Duke drop that 99 Final 4 banner, but they won't. But you look at USC and Reggie Bush....

With that being said, the situations are no where near close to what's going on at Chapel Hill with Institutional acedemic fukkery that went on there? Banners do need to drop for that being that it was a direct systematic abuse of the academic system at the school. Creating a major to keep athletes eligible and them nikkaz didn't even go to class? Even the nikkaz who take those General Studies classes actually go and do the work.

UNC been under fire since 2010. I'm over it at this point and just want something to happen one way or another. For 4 straight fukkin years its been some kind of bullshyt after another.

Strip the titles I don't really care, it doesn't erase the pictures and videos I have from those years showing we won.

But just do something already, being a UNC fan these past 4 years has been fukking torture.
