Lotta folks saying we have the toughest region - I'll take it...and I hope Georgetown makes it to the final game.

Of our five losses - Duke, Syracuse, Villanova, Georgetown, Notre Dame - we have avenged three (and ND twice).

We have the potential to avenge the last two. REVENGE TOUR

Also, interesting statistics:

This will be the sixth time Rick Pitino has had a No. 1-seeded team in the NCAA tournament (four at Kentucky, two at Louisville). In his previous five instances, his teams have won the championship once (1996), lost in the title game once (1997 to 4-seed Arizona), the Final Four once (1993) and the Elite Eight twice (1995, 2009). The loss to Arizona represents the only time a Pitino-led No. 1 seed wasn't eliminated by a 1- or 2-seed.

Odds aren't in our favor in that regard, but most coaches have similar statistics, believe it or not.

One more factlet: Rick Pitino has never lost a Sweet Sixteen game.

I won't take anything for granted, but I want to see six wins in a row.

As far as matchups go, how did Duke get fukked?!

The only potential problem comes at the Sweet 16 & beyond...Ultimately you wanna at least get matchups that give you the best opportunity to get past the first two rounds... And Duke got that...AGAIN. *smh*
