“I’m not going to apologize for any win,” Schwartz said. “We won this football game. There’s a lot of positives in this game, we were resilient, we played hard, we played physical and we went out and beat a playoff team at home in the opener. And I’m not going to apologize for anything this team did.”
there are tons of dirty players in the nfl, get over it. All this Suh piling on is sickening. The play was bad i agree, but a 20K fine should have been plenty. 100K is borderline robebry, and the players union needs to stand up to this bullshyt. You p*ssy motherfukkers would have shyt your pants had you watched football in the early 70's.

if Im the Lions Id fine him double that. not only is the play illegal, it was also highly detrimental to his own team (lost a TD) for no reason whatsoever
Call me crazy, but I think their coach is a big part of it. Dude was the DC on the Titans team that was responsible for a cheap shot on Shawne Merriman which ruined his knee and tried to take out Gates as well. Suh is not without blame, but I think there are bigger issues.

Suh's agent, Roosevelt Barnes, said he expects the appeal to be heard later this week, when he hopes to provide another perspective to reduce his client's fine.
"Everyone is talking about how Ndamukong shouldn't have blocked the 300-pound lineman because there was no way he was going to catch a linebacker," Barnes said in a telephone interview with The Associated Press.
"If that's the case, the lineman should've known he wasn't going to catch the linebacker. But the lineman did attempt to catch the linebacker and Ndamukong attempted to block him. But everyone wants to make Ndamukong out to be a villain."
Suh vowed that he's not going to change his ways on the field, including when Detroit (1-0) goes on the road to play the Arizona Cardinals (0-1) on Sunday.
