Lots of people were fine and got vaxxed then got an adverse reaction too. Covid risk is insanely small for my daughter...not worth the risk and it won't be mandated in my state for schools so we good over here.
no need to listen to these fearmongering clowns. kids arent at any more risk of covid than they are of flu. and any adults that they "could" infect, teachers, etc... that adult had the choice to be vaccinated :mindblown: so why arent they?

im fully vaccinated, but i dont support these mandates at all, or mandates for kids. shyt is disgusting

if you're worried about covid, then make sure you and your family and your kids are vaxxed. that's YOUR choice though :mindblown: imagine telling the next man that he has to vaccinate HIS kid

I'm comparing kids getting vaccines to kids getting vaccines you fukking moron.

Idiots saying 'only 700 kids died from COVID' well around 100-150 people used to die of chicken pox every year. Using the same logic, kids shouldn't be getting chicken pox vaccines. It's fukking dumb.
you don't have any kids :mjlol: the fukk do you care? other peoples kids are none of your business

I don't think you understood what you even quoted.

These transmission rates would be the same with or without the vaccine.

Even if they have no or few symptoms, the chance of them transmitting the virus to other unvaccinated housemates is about two in five, or 38%.

This drops to one in four, or 25%, if housemates are also fully vaccinated.

clearly not the same. :comeon:

edit: were you implying that vaccinated individuals get covid at the same rate as unvaccinated individuals and thus present the same threat?

That's the case where two housemates are vaccinated....in this particular study.

It has NOTHING to do with children being vaccinated against COVID. :what:

you misunderstood the purpose of my original response, it was only a clarification of someone else's claim.

so you cite a study which confirms your belief that vaccinated individuals who contract covid can also transmit it but you reject the rate of transmission reported in that same study. what information are you basing that rejection on?

whats there to agree about? :jbhmm:

Do you have children?

I wish people would observe data a lot better.

COVID rates were ALL the way down in June and are suddenly peaking again despite vaccines being rolled out everywhere. Why is that? Because we are heading into the colder months.

COVID is here to stay...period. It's just something society will have to deal with like the flu virus. If you want to get booster shots, then get them. Just realize that you will have to now keep getting them every year.

Kids are not affected by COVID at any significant rate whatsoever. They can transmit COVID, yes, but them being vaccinated does not mean they still can't spread it. These are facts. The biggest contributor to COVID deaths are pre-existing conditions; heart disease, obesity, hypertension etc. COVID, like many other diseases affects people with compromised immune systems a lot more.

This I been saying that boosters will have to be done every 6 months. The vaccines wane over time and I hear once the vaccines lose efficacy you can catch covid fast. People think it's only two shots to take nope. This shyt is going to be another flu shot.

I don't think children should be taking the shot. Because they have been the most exposed group this whole pandemic. Some didn't have to wear masks in public settings and they are around vaccinated and unvaccinated family members and people all the time. Thats one of the reasons why cases are low within that group.

Use that same logic for chicken pox, polio, etc.
You're saying kids just shouldn't get vaccines. :mjlol:

fukkin retarded.

I'm glad you brought up those vaccines, because unlike previous mainstream vaccines for kids(Smallpox, measles, etc) where we have to take yearly boosters.

When I took MMR shots as a kid, I wasn't encouraged/nor forced to take annual boosters for it. For the few kids who don't get MMR, no one is asking them or their parents if they got the shots to enter Chuck E Cheese or the movie theaters.
