Yeah, let the average man try to do spark plugs on a transverse V6 with the rear cylinder bank tucked underneath the windshield. fukk outta here. Factory trained techs have a hard enough time as it is. :mjlol:

These threads quickly delve into bootstraps, shaming others for their missteps and random occurrences, and people bragging about themselves.
nikka everything is on YouTube :russ:

I just tore down half my V6 engine replacing leaky seals and belts. Never did it before, Took me 5 hours on a Saturday I ain’t have shyt else to do. Basic wrench turning and putting shyt back together.

I ain’t saying the average man should know how to do a engine swap or transmission rebuild. Mfs spending $250 at the dealership for something that can be done in a hour with minimal hand tools :mjlol:

How many have new phones, new cars, and houses they can't afford? How often do they eat out?

Can't throw this statistic out there without going into good detail. Folks could make $100k/yr and still be broke
It's true that for most having more money doesn't teach them how to manage money but according to the social security administration 48% of American workers make less than $32K annually.

I'll argue that if you took somebody making $30K a year to $100K a year even with lifestyle creep they would live comfortably. I'd also argue that going out to eat and buying a new cell phone won't be the difference between having major savings and not.

Who is actually shocked by this, people are not saving and continue to live above their means :unimpressed:. Why prepare for emergencies when you can always charge it :troll:?

I'm really wondering about this next recession, the internet era is not built for this shyt - lotta "influencers" and "content creators" will be outta work :yeshrug:
Lol@Influencers...I'll be honest...I'm ready to shake them down like its 1940s NY again. They got no business getting paid for some silly shyt like that. Makes my skin crawl...

Word up. There's a lot of lazy people and bums out here that aren't doing shyt, expect to get something while doing little or nothing and the little that they do, they are real pretentious about it too. That influencer bullshyt is basically the end product of all that.

And the recession is around the corner too. Same folks probably gonna be rioting blaming the system entirely for that shyt as if they werent bullshytting.

This is why people shouldn't be so quick to move out their parents house when they are young.
Save your bread for a year or two then move out :yeshrug:

Glad my moms put me in a position to do this
Ive never rented in my life and I’m about to buy my first house at 25
Unfortunately many of us don’t come from stable situations where we’re allowed to stay home and build

Car mechanic shifts gears, becomes a doctor at age 47 and helps address shortage of black doctors

This man was started off as a mechanic and became a doctor at 47 years old. And theirs more success where that c

I know bad things happen. I know there's systematic white racism. I know the job market can be tough. And yes people can get laid off. But stop depending on Government, these Big greedy corporations ain't trying to change anything thing. Trump been in office for 4 years, you think complaining is gone help your situation:stopitslime: Some of these folks been working the same low job for over 10 years, what have these people been doing those 10 years to get them outta that situation? All I read is bytching, but never plans and goals on getting yourself out of those situations.

Well stop going to school for bullshyt ass degrees. Get the Pell Grant which will pay for your classes, and choose a good degree and you don't have to pay shyt back. I paid for my classes with the Pell Grant and Walmart. Worked and went to school at night. How many of that 48% applied for the Pell Grant and are taking night classes? How many of that 48% are applying for certifications? The unions are looking for more people, how many of that 48% applied?

I find it very hard to believe people are stuck at the same low paying job for 10 some years without moving up or finding better paying opportunities.

What are these people doing with their selves?

If everyone was a doctor it would be the equivalent of flipping burgers. The fact remains that everyone can't make it to the top. Some people are gonna be at Walmart and flip burgers or whatever. Still doesn't change the fact that the rich get richer and the poor don't get a fukking thing. Society is rigged against the many in favor of the few and hard work and elbow greese won't change that.

I didn't say you had to make it to the top. You can live in a lot of places off $40k/yr. Get married and your spouse can add an additional $20k/yr working part time.

Maybe those people shouldn't work at Walmart/McDonald's for 5+ years. I worked at Walmart and sure some posters can vouch when I say people in those positions do the bare minimum, are lazy, and have no drive to do better. I know this one Cart Pusher who worked the same position for 8 years. Those old ladies you see been there for 10+ years

If you been making $30k for 10 years who's to really blame:patrice:
