Watch prices in the South go up too. Higher population increases bring higher inflation in time.

They'll be back in a good 10 years or so.

Back in the days there weren't many good jobs in the south so people flocked up North. Now with this working from home and the economy in the south getting better people are bushing cold weather and high tax states.
The South still has shytty jobs and nothing about the South's economy has gotten better if anything it has gotten worse over the years especially during the pandemic.

Plenty of decent jobs down south if you have a trade or degree. My old job in Georgia was paying welders $35 hour starting with guaranteed ot in a city with extremely low cost of living. There were several people at that job that moved down from NY and they stated they didn't like Georgia a whole lot but at least they could afford a nice home on a single income.

I know multiple people who made the move when their jobs announced they would be working from home permanently.
