If the show was that much of a hit, or even somewhat profitable, Complex wouldn’t have that much of a problem paying him.

I like Joe. Joe's one of my favorite rappers ever. I actually think the nikka is a genius. Not only did he he create the show, but he made the show tick. He also understands the business.


With that said...Joe is self-destructive and lacks business saavy. Yeah Complex wasn't playing ball, but why would they play ball with someone that operated like him and they were still figuring out what the show is...

In the corporate world, sometimes you get fukked in the short-term no matter what the industry. That's why some people can't stand and are not built for it. The people who really excel in the corporate world are the ones who bide their time, show the value and then get paid and then get the power.

Joe knows the business, he HAD to know after 8 months Complex wasn't going to play ball just yet. He should've kept this off of their platform if he wanted full control.

All his moves were deliberate. He just didn't want to do the show anymore. It wasn't about the money, just like he said it wasn't.

1. Nadeska isn't a game changer. Not being mean, but she's not that "bad", where dudes want to just tune in to watch her.
2. They CAN replace Joe. They just gotta look around. They can find a credible rapper with more personality and opinion. Obviously Joe carries a bit of drama with him and that makes ppl watch/listen, but they could be ok if they're willing to search.
