This ain't true at all. To me Joe played it perfectly. Corporations are always going to make more money off of you than they pay you. But truly finding assets is hard to do. The best way to operate in the corporate world is to show your value, show that you are an asset to the company. Once you prove that you are a commodity then you use that leverage to force them to pay you as such or go elsewhere now that you have proof of your value.
I ended up with multiple fat raises because I made myself indispensable, then flat told my bosses that I wasn't properly compensated and was looking elsewhere.
You take the short losses for the bigger bag later on. If Complex ain't playing ball then leave while your value is high with other opportunities on the table.

Like she said in the tweets,ES fans have made her important. If you ever read the comments on some of the videos you can see how ruthlessly they speak on and critique her,despite her limited role.Because they basically hate the idea of a moderator,and would rather the show be no holds barred out of control
