does this mean Gar is gone? :feedme:

A critical Bulls offseason could feature subtle changes in front-office dynamics

nah :mjcry:

The Tribune reported in February that executive vice president John Paxson and general manager Gar Forman were safe even if the Bulls missed the playoffs for a second straight season. Forman went on to publicly state that coach Fred Hoiberg would return to start his third season next fall.

But in lieu of firings, there will be fuller participation.

The Reinsdorfs' belief in management's roster-building ability and talent evaluation remains strong, the Tribune reported in February, but the Bulls front office is small by league standards. Team President Michael Reinsdorf has been quietly gauging other organizational structures and is expected to push for more open debate, discussion and exchange of ideas between principal decision-makers.

sounds like the pecking order in decision making may change tho

300 murders a year
but at the end of the day, this is business, and there's no way they can think he's good for business.
I mean it looks horrible because hoiberg didn't inherit a 15 win team with 5 years of losing. He inherited a 50 plus win team that just made the 2nd rd. Between hoiberg being terrible and gar not properly using the assets they had at their disposal to properly improve the roster both of their heads need to roll. I think it would be fitting for at least both of them to get the axe.

Probably won't happen tho, this is them putting on a dog and pony show, understanding the fan base is totally turned and want them both gone. They get this news out here to quiet naysayers. If that move has to be made, how Is gar forman not fired right now? It's not even clear what gar is going to be demoted to. And worst of all, fred is still here. Half our issues is this terrible coaching hire.

Paxson has a better track record as gm than gar ever had(that aint saying much but still) that's the best thing I get outta this if it happens, he was better at drafting and making trades. If you listened to his interviews last season paxson understands what the issue is in getting better. He isn't down wit the status quo

and that game 6 friday was just like game 6 in 2015.I had to cut it off I couldn't watch no more they gave up and the crowd was dead I hate bulls national tv games they need to use some fake crowd noise or somethin.

did anyone else listen to this GarPax press conference?

just terrible wow

in short, what I gathered from it, nothing will change

they are bringing back Rondo, they want to bring back Niko, they expect Wade to resign

they kept trying to slick diss Fred and took ZERO accountability

they believe in Portis, Zel, Payne, Felicio blah blah
