those were best players on the board but the fits made no sense

I think it makes sense to stock pile best player available in this case because Lavine is coming back from an ACL injury, and if they take 2 PGs now it would have ensured Rondo's gone right? Is Rondo's option being picked up now?

Dudes just emotional. I've been consistent with starting over and stock piling young talent. I made this thread with this title for a reason...

It just didn't make sense to hold on to Jimmy Butler for any longer. Had he made another All NBA team next year he would have been eligible for the Super Max when his deal was up. He'll be 30 looking for 240M+... on a team that just ain't good enough to compete for a title.

I want them to let Niko walk now. I wanted them to take another guard so that they could just let Rondo walk too.

Simple fact is I'm not comfortable being a treadmill team paying Jimmy 200mil when hes north of thirty. Hes just not that guy. Dunn had a terrible season last year but he was playing alongside that garbage bench unit and Thibs runs no kind of offense. Hes still a tough gritty defender. You guys also need to calm down on the ACL thing. Not everyone is Derrick Rose. Guys like Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams, Baron Davis, Kyle Lowry bounced back. And unlike Rose, Lavine has already shown he has a more versatile game then just athleticism. The Euro tho. Can we stop drafting foreign prospects please. But anyway, we have tons of cap space going forward. Even though that means nothing with this FO, its still an option

We got a good rebuilding starting kit. Lavine was showing star potential last season before he got hurt. If Dunn turns out we got something
