So get rid of all our pgs?

I know yall think they suck , but damn.

I'd see a out keeping canaan and MCW needs summer work cuz he has the tools. Like to take a 2nd look at him over the summer.

Mcw is not good but they used him wrong. He should of been posting up and playing off guard with shooters not running point cuz he's trash at running sets and can't pass for nothing.Mcw can't shoot, can't finish at the rim and struggles to make simple entry passes there's a reason he's on his 3rd team on his rookie contract. He was never used in the post I remember him killing curry last year in the post.I'd keep rondo they aren't gonna get any pg on the market better than him for his contract.

Guess wade might go to CLE, most likely trading jimmy

Rondo tho....?

if i was bron i wouldnt want him tbh....one of the reasons he left was because he knew wade was declining and couldnt help him carry the team. why would he want him 3 years later ? also hes not a shooter so he doesnt really fit in anyway.

There's so much talk going on in this thread already that directly contradicts both arguments for keeping Jimmy vs trading him, and keeping Hoiberg or firing him.

The team as constructed is flawed as fukk brehs.

Rondo is the best PG the team has... outside of that, Grant, Payne and MCW are terrible.

Now, assuming the team is sticking with Fred going forward, the next thing to do is try to get the personnel that suites what he wants to do right? Push the pace, shoot from distance etc...

Hoiberg has been essentially forced into playing ISO ball with Jimmy/Wade and filling in the gaps everywhere else this year. The only time Rondo bought in to the "system" were in Games 1 and 2 of this series. The regular season he got benched cause he just didn't play fast enough.

The Bulls are stuck with Wade. Now yal want Rondo back, and you want to keep Jimmy... with Hoiberg here, that's 3 players that simply do not fit what the coach wants to do/run.

How are we not seeing this? They really set Fred up to fail giving him a group of guys who weren't going to change their ways, he needed to come in and inherit a young team to grow with... not this shyt here.

...Felicio was a massive disappointment this season. He actually looked promising in the spurts he got last year, but this season? It was like a full regression. Just came off as a player with 0 IQ. Couldn't ever play solid D without fouling, then eventually got a reputation as a hack and would never get the benefit of the doubt on calls

If Jimmy isn't being traded to the Celtics for a #1 pick then I don't want to see him move.

If we're committed to not tanking then I want to see a team built entirely around Jimmy, I want to see Rondo gone and even though we're stuck with Wade I want this next pick to be the guy we're replacing him with once he bounces after next year. That or a stretch 4.

I doubt we'll see any of these things I want to see though

Hoiberg has not done a damn thing in the league to warrant trading a clear all star to appease his so called system. Hoiberg has not even proven he can properly coach on a a nba level. Makes no sense to trade anyone to please him. Pushing the pace, moving the ball, finding the open man is something literally coaches in Grammer school preach. It's not a special philosophy.

Hoiberg is a college coach until proven otherwise.
Cavs didn't have to turn it all over to go from Blatt to lue

Warriors didn't have to clear the roster to go from jackson to Kerr

We didn't have to blow it up to go from del negro to thibs.

I don't even see the development hoiberg has had with the young guys currently here. Rondo is getting more credit for working with the youth

I sure don't feel good about clearing the decks to hand anything to fred. More proven coach sure, not no damn fred hoiberg.

What if the Lakers get Lonzo Ball, and offer Russell + Clarkson for Butler, knowing they could get PG-13 via free agency, would yall do that :jbhmm:
Starting a rebuild with russel, clarkson, a 16th pick and some other late pick the lakers throw at us would be a catastrophic mistake that would take a lot of years to recover from.

I like Russell, don't see how it's a catastrophe when you're not going to be able to build on the fly around Jimmy.

I dont believe that

But even if you do, don't mean you just take anything for jimmy. Can't just move jimmy to move him. Rebuild is very touchy. Wrong move and you could be very bad, for a every long time.
