There's so much talk going on in this thread already that directly contradicts both arguments for keeping Jimmy vs trading him, and keeping Hoiberg or firing him.
The team as constructed is flawed as fukk brehs.
Rondo is the best PG the team has... outside of that, Grant, Payne and MCW are terrible.
Now, assuming the team is sticking with Fred going forward, the next thing to do is try to get the personnel that suites what he wants to do right? Push the pace, shoot from distance etc...
Hoiberg has been essentially forced into playing ISO ball with Jimmy/Wade and filling in the gaps everywhere else this year. The only time Rondo bought in to the "system" were in Games 1 and 2 of this series. The regular season he got benched cause he just didn't play fast enough.
The Bulls are stuck with Wade. Now yal want Rondo back, and you want to keep Jimmy... with Hoiberg here, that's 3 players that simply do not fit what the coach wants to do/run.
How are we not seeing this? They really set Fred up to fail giving him a group of guys who weren't going to change their ways, he needed to come in and inherit a young team to grow with... not this shyt here.
