I like Dunn, especially if you can get him involved with Lauri in the high screens, the key with him is getting rid of everyone in his way and giving him as much time as possible and allowing him to play through his mistakes. I'm not sure what he's been doing in the offseason but I hope he's been taking 1000 shots a day since the season ended, his jumper is literally what separates him from being a very good player, or outright terrible. Lauri isn't a bad look either as long as you put the right players next to him, basically your PF in the future needs to be able to do the things he can't while also being able to shoot to really maximize the spacing.
I was high on LaVine before the knee injury, but it's his plant leg that he tore his ACL in and that's a long recovery period. I'd bring him back as slowly as possible, I know he's up for a new contract soon but he needs to be protected from himself & rushing back if you want him to become that 20+ ppg scorer. It would be a full year before I let him back on the court, he'd get Feb/March/April to work off some of the rust but I'd keep him on a minutes restriction.
They did lose the trade, mainly because I'm sure they could have gotten more for him but it's a situation like the Kings/Pelicans had where somebody really loved Hield so much so that they gave up Boogie for not a lot. It's obvious the Bulls are incredibly high on Dunn & LaVine, so you have to look at the trade from that vantage point a bit, they've wanted those two guys for a year now.
