I was the first one complaining about the Jimmy Butler trade and whining about having to give up the 16 and just drafting this guy (no 2nd rounder)

but I also said this guy was a player offensively and thats what you see in the highlights

1) You see him finishing with adequate strength and some good "quick" hops before defense could fully rotate.

2) You saw him put the ball on the ground and take it all the way to the cup and get the foul

3) you saw his jumper , which is (as others mentioned) as advertised.

he potentially makes Mr. March expendable cuz I see him as more of a PF but also a 5 out center. I didn't see enough strength in the middle to haul rebounds over legit centers but that's not what you ask from your 5 and out center.

We gave up our 2018 first rounder to OKC unprotected, which will essentially be a late 1st rounder.

So why did we sell Jordan Bell:patrice:

to buy out Rondo that's the only thing that makes sense. These guys are looking at the bottom line and as long as they are profitable they are going to make moves to keep that profit line. I bet Garpax gets bonuses based on profit line.

Lmao at Luke Kennard...

Luke Kennard is balling in the summer league

He averaged 17.2 points and shot 48% from the three-point line and was a perfect 9-for-9 at the foul line.

but it's just summer league , at least it shows what I said - he isn't like McDermmot because he can create his own shot

this is the guy that broke Lebrons highschool scoring record...he's gonna stick

welp, Frank Jackson just got a 3 years deal without even playing a summer league game. I really wanted him in the draft, was surprised he went 1st pick in the 2nd round but looks like talent scout on Utah did their homework

Semi Ojeleye who almost fell to us (missed him by 1 pick) is also looking good in summer league. Boston has 3 3rd rounders and really have no room for him. Would like to see him not signed and maybe bulls can pick him up

At this point on bringing back Niko at a bargain bin rate and using him as a trade piece later on

It wouldn't be wise to let him walk for nothing now that we won't have to overpay him

Niko's restricted free agency is the best thing GarPax have handled in a while

Bulls have a 15 mil trade exception ,they better use it before it expires to take a contract back for a pick. T wolves were trying to dump Aldrich contract for more cap space but didn't want to give up that thunder pick( '18 lottery protected 1st) if they hold out some team will get desperate and do it. The bulls need to get as many picks as they can for the '18 and '19 drafts. '19 draft gonna have a lot of star talent

Fred Hoiberg envisions Dwyane Wade serving 'important role' with Bulls

"As of right now, no. I don't see that," Hoiberg said. "Dwyane is going to have an important role on this team with having a mentor. He's going to obviously play for us and hopefully play well and take the role of leadership, which is a very important one."

Wade suppose ride that bench mostly & let the yougins get that burn :skip:

What if wade actually put some serious work in since its his last yr, he got to let league know he still that nikka:russ::mjlol:

LOL, niko still hasn't been signed. and as dumb as most GM's are, shockingly none have been ready to overpay him.

also, dude's arms appear to be kinda muscular. suprised that markanan's first few baskets were two handed dunks :obama:

you think the bulls would be able to trade niko if he simply just signs a 1 year deal?

Nah he ll have more value on a multi year deal

I mean I didn't want him back cuz I figured hed be expensive, but we should sign him just to keep the asset. He's still a 6'11 dude that can shoot and rebound
