The trade itself wasn't even that bad, but the moves made afterwards is what's fukking it up. Bulls doing the complete opposite of what they should be doing.
the trade was 1 draft pick bad, we should have gotten an additional draft pick or kept our 16. we gave away an allstar who has gotten better every season and is a 2-way player under contract
who did we get that you feel will be up to Butler's level? I could warm up to these pieces, liked Lavine before injury but we got injured goods for an allstar player. I don't get it.

Y'all funny ,on one hand you keep saying you don't trust garpax to rebuild but expect them to build a contender after wasting a year of jimmys prime signing declining players like rondo and wade in a league where having spacing/shooting is essential.
garpax should of maxed 31 year old kyle lowry who's either inconsistent,injured,utter trash or all 3 every year in the playoffs and traded for melo so three 30+ players are taking up a 3rd the cap.That sounds like a brilliant plan.Or get kyrie who would of been an awful fit with jimmy just like rose was cuz he's a shooting guard playing pg.These are the suggestions I've seen online.

and Kyrie outside shooting and 1 on 1 play would have worked next to Jimmy, they would share the workload similiar to Curry and Klay do (or use to). That would have been a perfect scenario and you build around those two.

breh, it's a big if...and it's all resides on the ACL. not too many guys come completely back from ACL tears 100% (Russy is a beast) and it's not as bad as it use to be but there's a chance he doesn't come back to form.
