It's more than just his jumper. His decision making was amateurish. His jumper will determine whether he's a rotational player or not (and even drawing contact at the basket is negated by his inability to hit FT's)

I'm optimistic about the trade,bulls have their back court of the future.Dunn was #5 pick last year he's 6'4 210 physical big pg with a 6'9 wing span.I think he'll thrive in an uptempo offense with space.He struggled like all rookies do under thibs.He'll play summer league next week watch him.

Jimmys value wasn't as high as bulls fans think either.Bottom out the next 2-3 years and stack up some talent/assets.The bulls were stale and needed to change.Maxing jimmy is just a joe johnson 2.0 situation with more money,adding melo/lowry or hoping they can get kyrie were all terrible ideas

With the Chicago Bulls rebuilding following their trade of Jimmy Butler, the future of Dwyane Wade with the franchise remains uncertain. Wade has already signed the paperwork on his $23.8 million player option for 17-18.

Wade could conceivably join LeBron James with the Cleveland Cavaliers, or he could even return to the Miami Heat. In May, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported that Wade is open to considering a return at some point in his career.

"Dwyane Wade can apply pressure to be bought out and be bought out immediately," said Brian Windhorst on The Lowe Post.

"I don't think a return to Miami is necessarily impossible. It depends on what Dwyane wants to do. It depends on Dwyane wants to play a bit role on a serious contender, or he wants to set himself for another contract after this season.

"If he went to Cleveland, for example, his role on the Cavs would be more as a supporting player, even a bench player. If he went to a different team he might be a starter, or still be able put up good numbers and position himself for one final contract."

Windhorst expects Wade to pursue a buyout with the Bulls.

I love venturing out to other forums after big trades, shyt is fukking hilarious. nikkas on RealGM are so desensitized to bad news, they don't even give a fukk. :dead: /r/chicagobulls on the other hand....delusional and intolerable as always. These fans are pissed alright. These must be the same fans who wanted to keep Jimmy and continue being a mediocre, middle of the pack team with no future. As bad as GarPax have been, at least they picked a direction for the franchise to go in.

To the nikkas who wanna switch out their Butler jerseys, take that pathetic shyt to the Timberwolves offseason thread. Enjoy watching them not make the playoffs yet again.

Been talking sports with yo ass since the sohh days...please tell me this trade was kinda cool...the draft pick we got was kinda iffy....will give the slow white boy a shot...do you think lavine comes back full strength and is Dunn starting material.....and do you think the t wolves are a playoff team? I think so

Pretty sure any outrage is coming from the pick swap and selling our 2nd. Sure they look like they're moving in a tanking direction, its just shyt like this shows our F.O can never be "all in" on anything. Half assing just about everything to make sure jerry doesnt raise an eyebrow.

Thats the thing I don't get with some fans being upset on here and other boards regarding bold. Hell I'm pretty sure if we go back enough pages on here you can see some wanting a rebuild to happen and now they venting. I personally like they finally trying to give Fred a chance to see if his ass can coach with a team more geared towards what he is running. People need to look at this video to see what Fred thinks the team should function like. Will it work idk but I glad they are choosing a direction like you and others have said.
