3 years 45 mil? sure.. 2 years of intentional garbage play, then an expiring?

We know Niko is a mental midget....So his new role would probably be lead scorer, I think he'll blossom... but if he doesn't...we suck hard...which means high draft pick... so I'm good with that.

I kind of want to go after Johnathan Simmons... I just love his story...

If they offer him 3 years at 45 mil, then they aren't looking to win anytime soon. They cannot be that high on him.

We just locked up Felacio for 8m over 3 years as well.

We already knew they traded the 2nd pick so they buy Rondo out

This is clearly a rebuild project for many years to come, but the Bulls have had a very strange front office even going back to the Jordan days. I don't think they can go forward with ANYONE that is currently on that roster and my guess is that Wade will get bought out. I won't take ANY bad contracts if you have to trade him. If you feel like you can trade him, just trade him for picks and sign cheap players if needed...even if it's late 2nd round picks.

Free agency the next few seasons will be about keeping a young core intact – Felicio is just 24 years old – while filling out the roster with a few veterans that are high-character guys in the locker room, but aren’t talented enough to win games that could cost the Bulls ping pong balls in the draft lottery.

That’s really where the organization’s focus is for the 2017-18 season: Get a top four pick next June. A Bulls front office source reiterated that mission statement to the Sun-Times this week.

More specifically, the ideal situation is nabbing the No. 1 pick and then drafting Missouri incoming freshman Michael Porter Jr. League scouts have touted the 6-10 forward as a can’t-miss scoring machine at the next level.
