Can anyone give me a description of what House of Cards and Mad Men is about?

House of cards is a political drama that follows majority whip frank underwood as he tries to climb the ladder in Washington. Season 2 just dropped on netflix today, its a really good watch

Mad Men is a show set in the 60s about Don Draper who works for an Advertising company in nyc, its 6 or 7 seasons deep right now but it has some really good writing behind it.

Cant go wrong with either imo

a few of the ones mentioned like oz and mad men. haven't seen mad men myself. also might want to check out homeland and to a lesser extent Dexter and weeds but get ready for a quality drop midway thru.
