Need advice brehs.. in a predicament (background checks/arrests)

Im an electrical engineer in my third year of my career. I recently got called by a company who was interested in me; went on the interview etc. Just got a call they offered me everything I wanted.

Well... in january I got popped cause a friend of my left drugs in my car which came up after being pulled over and i caughta charge. ima get PTI and its gonna get wiped from my record... but now im scared im gonna take this job, fill out the application and once they run a background check on me ima be outta the new job and the old...

old job dont know about it and i planned on keeping it that way. What am i to do brehs

Something happened to me when I got a DUI. They won't see the charges. But they see the arrest record and what it was for. Tell them pre hand and see what's up

cause my friend had a record and thats all u need out here in jersey. cop was screaming at me asking where the drugs are and why am i hanging out wigth people of is characyer. I had absulutely nothing to hide and they found a virginia slims pack filled with empty heroin bags and charged me with possesion of dope when they could have given me a misdemeanor for drug paraphenalia cause all they found were bags, no actual drugs. now my life is fukking ruined cause i never gave up hanging with my elementary school friends.

Don't lie cause its another charge if you do. I'd ask the PTI people about what the status of your case is ie does it still show that you were charged for this until you complete the diversion program.

why would it be another charge? its not a felony to not bring it up.

i didnt even goto trial yet to get the PTI but my lawyer assured me it was either that or a conditional discharge cause i have no prior record. kinda fukks with me in the meantime tho cause that could take a year and im at a point in my career where people are calling me to work there with bigger raises. im just afraid i cant d anything cause the background check will show up

for example i signed up to drive for uber on the side, but there background check showed my charges. i cant drive for them now

i just dont wanna quit mt current job to take this one where they fire me wiuthin 2 weeks because my background shows a felony possession of rdrugs

If you lie on an application about your criminal background its a new charge if the employers are a$$holes and report you. Sounds like you're good on that tip. I've never been on PTI papers so idk what the process is about reporting it because you are gonna have no record of it when you complete it. On most apps they ask if you've ever been convicted not charged. You sure it asks if you've ever been CHARGED and not convicted?

nah, it's cause the system is fukked up and we have lost the concept of probable cause

problem is i never was given an application. i just interviewed and got myt offer. im sure ill get my application with that question my first week. basically itkk ve a huge gamble on my part if i do it.

talking a 20k bump tho...life isnt fair
