I'll just give my positive impressions first so I don't come off as dismissive alright.

The FMV's are well done. The music is good and the theme seems like it knows what It wants to be. It has some semblance of NFS Underground but it also has the padding of recent NFS stuff that I grow tired of.

Besides that, I just can't with NFS anymore. It's like a checklist of everything that turns me off from them every year: :russell:

Open World
Cops
Filters and heavy blur/post processing effects masking how plain the graphics are.(I think FH2 looks better.)
Convoluted tuning and customizations
Online only?

I played for like half an hour and at first thought it was okay but then once the in game chick called me on some "lol meet me at my garage" and I was on a world map with markers I cut it off 10 minutes later. I just want to pick a car, track and race. I don't even feel like bothering customizing my car and tuning and editing. :snooze:

I mean if that's your thing and you're into the whole party, cliche "DUdE we're ridiNG TON1TE FOR REAL1!!" "TH1S GUY HAZ it MAN11!!" shyt then knock yourself out.

I'll stick to Driveclub. That seems to be the only racer out focused on just plain ole racing. What happened to the frigging simplicity?? I wish these games had a plain ole campaign mode with a cohesive list of races and objectives.

Idk... I'll probably try it again later... I just didn't feel like pasting decals on my car.

Yea I felt the same way. It's funny because drive club is the same frame rate and feels way better.
Framerate doesn't equal better sense of speed because GT and Forza feels "slow" if you get my drift compared to DC or FH2. The sense of speed is usually achieved by things like motion blur, camera shake etc.

Driveclub has imo the best sense of speed for any driving game and is quite frankly the sole reason I prefer it over others. The feel of driving is unmatched and the environments are just :wow:. This NFS looks like Arkham Knight with heavy blur racing.

terrible handling. I lost every race with the Subaru. I love they brought back the customization. I'd smash Amy.

always online = very bad.

I'm not liking the gameplay part of it or the wrecks. Drifting is so fukking weird compared to NFS Carbon.

I wrecked by crashing into a tiny rail. this is an arcade racer if i cared about realism i'd play DC or GT.

One step forward, two steps back.
