Need help choosing games brehs

I'm not a big gamer, I don't have the time between working 10-12 hours most days and then you kids. But the missus wants to get me a game or 2 and is dropping hints about copping a ps4 as well.

So I'm just trying to get a few suggestions, the only ganes I've played in the last 10 years is GTA really. I used to play the first Halo all the time (didn't like the sequels much) and I'm not into online gaming for various reasons so I'm just looking for a dope game, good storyline, good to decent graphics and something I can chop away at when I play for a couple of hours every now and then.

Ps4 suggestions welcome but if there's anything that was crazy on PS3 that you think I should try (I've just heard of this Uncharted 2, sounds good) then let me know.

Try Rocket League. 5 min games. Tons of action. And it's cheap

GTA V is on PS4 and so is The Last of Us. Uncharted 4 is still a few months away but that should be a day one cop if you have the chance. If I had to pick one great single player story heavy game I would go with The Witcher 3.

Max Payne 3 for PS3... Straight up classic intense gunplay, great story and dopeness throughout the game
