How much stuff are you looking for? Are you just looking for a website about your school and a way for a student to pay, or are you looking to have them sign up for courses and manage their whole curriculum via the website?

You can forget about my questions, sounds like Savvir got you

Ok. You should use wordpress for sure. Purchase your domain through godaddy and add wordpress hosting to your account. There are thousands of plugins to setup everything you need to do an online school. The most important of which is course pages that are only accessible for customers that sign up and pay to unlock access.

I’ll lookup some guides to help you put it together.

Start here to get a good overview of what’s possible and which plugins to use. There a full guide with video tutorials. If you get confused or stuck just hit me on DM and I can walk you through.

Sometimes there’s random coding/technical finessing you might need. I got you on that too.

I’m going teach it live starting out twice a week
Ok. You will have to pay for your zoom account and embed the stream on one of the pages that are only accessible to paying students. Should connect your curriculum to a Google calendar and make it shared/embedded too so student can add the calendar to their Google account and get alerts when the class starts so they don’t miss the lesson.

I just threw an event last night and am only on 2 hrs sleep. I’ll get more in depth later after I get rest. Read through the link I dropped earlier. It will cover 80% of the work you’ll need to do. Then we can fine tune the rest after you already have the domain and wordpress running.

Trying do a online school. I want to set up some sort of way for students to pay through the site

Like others said, go with Wordpress. You should be able to use a plugin like StreamYard if you wanna teach live. Depending on how much you're trying to offer (reading materials, other videos, quizzes, etc) You'll wanna look into a Learning Management System, or LMS. Think Coursera, etc anc how you can track your progress
