Need help purchasing a new phone.

Alright, so I got a jailbroken 4S and even though I got credit card bills stacked up I think it's time I upgrade.

It served me well... And even though I didn't update it past IOS 6.1.1 it's been acting slower since I've updated a lot of apps recently.

So brehs I'm looking to go to Android I've got a Nexus 10 tablet and I like it.

I've got 2 Iphone 5's in their original box sitting on my TV stand right now but I'm not feeling Apple any longer.
Now I can keep 1 of those or I can use my credit card and purchase the phone that I got my eye on which is the HTC one?
What do y'all think?

The reason I've stuck with this 4S for as long as I have is down to it being Jailbroken so you get those perks take that away and it becomes less desirable... I can't see myself using an iPhone and having to deal with iTunes and paying for apps on the App Store.

The general consensus seems to be from tech savy people Samsung, SONY, Google Nexus and HTC their lineup are besting apple in specs.
And Android on my Nexus 10 is just as smooth as IOS and doesn't come with the restrictions.

And I do practically everything on my phone outside of watching movies/shows.

Sounds like a Nexus 5 might be a good option

I looked into that and having owned the Nexus 4 for a brief while the battery life was awful, camera was bad and I had issues with wifi I don't trust LG and apparently Nexus 5 also suffers from bad battery life.

A free iPhone 5 or pay for a HTC one.
I don't even know I don't want to be stuck with an apple phone for another year even if it is free but it'll save me from spending.

Trade it on Craigslist. iPhones are always in high demand people will pay top dollar for used or easily trade stuff for it

I was thinking of switching to the HTC One as well but that 4MP camera isn't worth it for me right now. I'm going to wait until the m9 drops.

HTC One camera is HORRIBLE. Phone is otherwise solid though, assuming you like Android.

I think your only sensible option is your iPhone 5, even if its just temporarily.

It's not that bad, remember he stans a phone maker who thinks putting dslr type cameras on phones = high quality phones

breh, pay your credit card bills off, sell those extra phones you have and stop accumulating debt trying to keep up with everyone else.

nothing wrong with that 4S or even activate one of the 5s you have.

Thanks for the advice, I'm in a better place financially then a few months ago, got a few interest free balance transfers so it's looking much better now, I purchased a smart phone for this girl I came to like it kills me that she has a better phone then I but that's a whole another story.

I just don't know I grew to dislike the iphones, the charger lead kills me and it's a 5...

If the phone still works just take care of the bills first breh, then when you have disposable income buy a phone.
