I can put up more bread

Should I get an older model?

Which is the oldest MacBook with the power to run a ps2 emulator well?
I wouldn't go any older than 2014 but you should probably get last year's model or even the newest one. https://www.google.com/#q=2014+macbook+pro
Like one of the posters said, a good macbook will last you over 5 years. It's true you're paying more for the name, but they just give me less headaches.

Can it run emulators and Adobe breh ?

You can get it in i5 or i7 version, if you wanna do some gaming on it I'd recommend getting the i7 one breh. It'll be fine for gaming and Adobe will work no problem.

I do agree with the other breh who said these says you can find good laptops for cheaper though. You tried looking for some gaming laptops? They can be just as/even more powerful and slightly cheaper as well. Check our the alienware laptops for example and see what you think.

Before getting the Macbook Air this summer, my last MacBook Pro was from 09'. There's no other laptop on the market that's going to last you 7+ years. If you try to max out the specs as much as possible, you'll have a laptop that'll last you almost a decade.

My Dell XPS M1530 its older than yours and its running with no problems

Get a refurb Dell XPS 13.

If you step your money up I`d say get a iMac or Surface Book (or Surface Pro 4 if you need probability.)
