Need help unlocking a sprint 4s

Unlocking a Sprint phone is pointless, Sprint iPhones are specifically locked to only work on sprint in this country. Try getting an AT&T or T-Mobile iPhone to make unlocking worth it.

The iPhone 4S is slow as shyt with iOS 8 as well, I have to use that with an app I am building and its extremely frustrating to keep things running smoothly without going over the memory heap at any given time.

I've always wanted to unlock my tab 3 and 4 but im scared of the brick possibility.

I don't think you realize that it won't make much of a difference...I don't even think Boost or Virgin Mobile will activate it because the ESN will be flagged in the database.

Long story short old man, sprint iPhones specially that one are being phased out of Cricket due to them changing to GSM. So while you'll be able to do it it's not worth it because the device will be outdated soon and your "friend" wil have to get a new device anyways. You act like I don't know what I'm talkin bout. At having a CDMA phone in 2015. How many notable carriers/MNVOs have switched or are currently switching from CDMA to GSM (or now support both)? There's a reason Sprint or Verizon CDMA-only version of phones are always cheaper than the AT&T and T-Mobile versions of that same on eBay.
