What you described is not the friendzone. You described geting to know someone. Friendzone is when you already know them and you keep them around as your lap dog. Biiiiiiiiiig difference.

It all comes down to time-frame. How long is too long to know someone before agreeing to go out on a date with them? Anytime after what is acceptable to you you'd probably call friendzone. Some people just take longer, they're not trying to be mean about it.

The friendzone is a commonly accepted term (in America at least, are you from here?) that references the type of set up I described. There is no such thing as the friendzone for a man that a woman is truly attracted to sexually.

you may mess up by texting to much and you may mess up by texting to little and hopping in and out as she may pick up your a "playa"

It's true. Some girls like to feel special. Texting is impersonal, you don't know who is really on the other end. You can't gauge their mood or feelings. shyt I used to be in bed with one girl telling the next girl how much I loved her and missed her. bytch be texting me she at her momma crib, that bytch aint there. True she can call and say the same thing but chances are the background noise or lack there of will expose it.
