Need some help from my Apple Macbook breh's!!!!!

I made a thread a while ago about coming up on a Macbook Pro at my job. It was lost and I discovered it again like Christopher Columbus.

So after buying a power cord and logging in (figured out how to create a new log in) I'm at a lost as how how I can make this mine without the police running up on me

I never fukked with macs until now, so imagine me giving the rep at eh apple store the face when she said they don't sell the firmware. Apple ID's/accounts run deep and the find my mac feature can track a device once its connected to a network even if an account is changed. So I did some research and

1. Will Resetting the NVRAM break the chains from the previous owner?

I figured out how to do a factory restore but I have to be connected to the web in order to download a fresh copy, so other than resetting the NVRAM what else do I need to do to completely go undetected.


A little background.. the computer was lost for about a month before I decided to claim it. The previous ower appears to have been some type of coach a school so I guess it was used for work mostly.

based on the specs I know I can get between $900 - $1100 for it but i'm considering keeping it.

Most tech I get either comes from a j or play head and I use it at most I catch a stolen property charge.

I get where you're going with this option. I just didn't want to involve any other machines. If I could disable or erase any tracking software/features prior to doing a clean install though would've been great. Public website but there is still some level of anonymity here
