My 12 yr old has the 2nd gen and my 14 yr old has the 1st gen ...
As i said earlier, my 3 yr old stole my ipad.. he steals my wifes ipad when his dies... and I have a LG pro8.. my 6 month old aint steal nothing yet.. but I see him looking, next year this time Imma get jacked for something
The damn 2nd gen battery failing and the shyt wont charge or it takes forever... I wish you can change the batteries on these things

My son (10) has an old iPad and an Amazon tablet (ones for 50 bones) he uses the Amazon more but I think that's more so because he can watch stuff on prime and down load those corny ass games.

2 yrs ago got my son a nexus 7 when he was 5. Made sure I added duo lingo and the scratch app and a few other. Had a serious kid proof case and he still managed to crack the screen a bit.

I bought her the Kindle Fire. The baby momma has a Prime account so she's got tons of goodies (as far as apps and kiddie books go) that the little one can play with. I figured I'd get her started on the Kindle, and then by next Christmas, if she treats it right, I'll ger her her very first iPad.

no, don't do it! i can't stand my nieces and nephews cuz all they do is go on their ipads, and theyre 2-4 years old
