Truth here, My 2 sons used to get real obsessed with their ipads now so its weekend only and 1 hr at a time only.

You have to make sure you regulate their usage with it otherwise it can get really detrimental to their development.

iPad mini 2 retina is now $200 at Walmart. I would gone ahead and invest in that with a strong case. My sister keeps getting those cheap android tablets that come out every year at this time for my niece(7) and nephew(6) and although they do the job initially she ends up buying theme new ones every xmas because the previous years tablet stopped working.

Yea, I'm definitely gonna moderate her usage. I'm not gonna let her stay on it all day long. She's still gonna watch some cartoons on TV. She's still gonna do her homework on Tuesdays and Thursdays (she's in pre-k ) and she's still gonna help daddy clean the house.
