I dont know the genesis of his name but id be legitmately surprised if he just ripped it off from Neef. You guys think he was THAT inspired by one of the most easily forgettable third stringers from The Roc? Or maybe he just threw darts at an old Rocawear ad and went with whatever landed?

If theres any young up and coming rapper who isnt biting flows, styles and persona, its this kid. hes been doing his own thing

my boy...its cool that its an ode to the original and all and that i saw Emory was involved somewhat but have to be a but more broader when it comes to certain things. don't just copy the name exactly...at the very least give it a Streets Is Watching: (Insert Something Here). add some flavor. it makes it easier to find and its more personal stamp.

for the most part these rappers do not give a fukk about remakes or odes to them.

I feel like he would have done his own thing it would received less clout and less eyes on it

It being a Streets Is Watching sequel brings a certain level of attention and has ppl who never heard of him checking for him
