He's right. Humans have been genetically modifying foods for hundreds of years and there's nothing inherently wrong with doing so, and there's no evidence that it's inherently unsafe.

Now if you want to talk about the business practices of companies like Monsanto, that's a different topic.

Organic? How is that even possible unless it's like vinegar, garlic and hot pepper combo. Is it man made chemicals with the word organic slapped on it?

Off topic but I saw organic Gatorade the other day in the store. I was like how?

If that Gatorade has real sugar and not corn syrup you should get on that. Real sugar drinks taste tremendous

It make plenty of sense you just dont understand. Monsanto is all up in Congress lobbying them and doing all types of shady shyt. They wouldnt need to do any of that if GMO's were just as good as non GMO food.

Monsanto sucks, but there's no proof that GMO foods are harmful.

You've been eating GMO products your entire life with no ill effects. "Organic" is a marketing term more than anything. Even if you're vegan you regularly consume foods that come from seeds that were genetically modified at some point.

Not to mention non-GMO crops may be *worse* for you since more pesticide needs to be used on them.

The difference between organic and gmo can be the taste and time it takes for the produce to expire. Organic food doesn't last as long. These are just my observations.

Of course that's the difference, that's the main point of genetically modifying them. :heh:

Taste is worst in gmo. Don't know if the reversed expiration has any effect on our biology and that's what the masses would like to know.

Theres no proof that they're not harmful either breh. And my reasoning from bringing up Monsanto is why would they go so hard for GMO if everything was on the up and up? Its been awhile since I looked into them, but didnt they want GMO labels removed or to not be used? Why if everything is ok with GMO?

Anyways, where theres smoke, theres fire and Monsanto seems to be that fire... Other than that, I get what you're saying...

They're spending so much money trying to convince the public that GMO is safe. That alone warrants suspicion.

I would also like to think that there's a big distinction between animals/plants that had small DNA changes over the past thousands of years and the man-made genetic alterations done in a lab. You're being dishonest when you lump the two together.
