Not trying to be insensitive but how can you respect someone that was most likely telling people it was gods plan . But when something happen to them God was not real.

and the answer is i dont respect anyones religious beliefs people passing off as knowledge things that are too great for them to understand. no human knows anything like who god is, or how we got here. they just think they do

1st explain to me what observational evidence is, and how it is weaker than other types of evidence. An expanding universe implies that the universe was compact at one point. Scientists have no problem saying they don't know at the moment. A couple hundred years ago you would be telling me God causes rain

To reiterate we can't show or prove anything about dark energy NOW. That will probably change with time. We will never learn anything new about God tho.

What annoys me is that scientists always act like the big bang is fact, when its no more of a theory than religion is. Both God and the big bang is all just belief at the end of the day
