Would be dope if the inverse happened. He went back to his planet n sumhow captured some humans in the process. And then show how the humans are treated on his planets, n them tryin to escape and come back to earth, meanwhile on earth they trying to find them in space and rescue them.

then of course the 3rd movie wld b the confrontation and the battle. Wit the half human half prawn bein the mediator trying to prevent a world war.

But why though? There's plenty of animated movies that drop all the time



I would only want that if they planned on a 3rd movie dropping. But I think they could pull it off with a story based on Chris because in the original you actually felt for that nikka and his son before it ended. When Wikus took his ride I was legit pissed off before he fukked up and crashed.

Why?

You think a movie about Chris speaking in Prawn and having the audience read everything they say will be a go for a full length film?

There's a reason why they haven't come up with a sequel: they have yet to come up with a legit story that can match the 1st. D9 was unique in a sense that they didn't follow the normal hollywood cliched aliens attacking earth formula.

Nothing wrong with subtitles. Homie is right though the masses ain't trying to read a whole movie. A lot of my friends sleep on foreign classics because they can't deal with subs.
