Sami nor Cody should dethrone Roman.
Roman and the Bloodline is the most compelling storyline in the WWE today. You take Roman out and put the titles on Cody or Sami, there will be a momentary high, but it will quickly fade and people will become bored of them.
I got back into the WWE because of the Bloodline. Once they are gone, WWE may go back to the shadow realm for me. I have no interest in watching Cody Rhodes blathering every week about his father, giving boring ass platitudes, and being a superman that can take on any foe.
Sami doing some "dance" looking like he's having a stroke as he enters is not entertaining either. shyt is cringeworthy and I always flip the channel because I get embarrassed watching it. And wasn't he getting hoed by Drew McIntyre but we supposed to think he is a threat to Roman Reigns now? Come on.
The only other guy in WWE that I think has the same level of charisma, entertainment factor, and in ring presence as Roman is Montez Ford. Montez Ford has all the tools and can be what the Rock was back in the late 90s/early 2000s, but the WWE are disregarding him for generic Cody Rhodes.
Montez's short promo above was better than Cody's 10 minute promo.
Face it, Cody Rhodes ain't it, folks. The only thing interesting about Cody Rhodes is that abomination of a neck tattoo. And the only interesting thing about Sami is that he was the waterboy to the Bloodline.
