It's like when The Roots released 'Do You Want More?' and they gained a huge alternative following (they even toured on Lollapalooza) but then when they released 'Illadelph Halflife' it made a lot of their original alternative music fans lose interest in them.

Yeah I’d been a fan of her’s since Whoa Nelly! and by the time she got to her third album (Loose) their was a change in audience due to her switching it up, but good music is good music to me so I stayed around for the evolution of Nelly Furtado as an artist!
