Neo-Nazi's, white supremacist, etc have been in the military and police departments. When I was a boot camp back in 2007, my bunk mate was a Neo-Nazi. About our second week in training the DI's in our platoon got him out.

Some of them are better at hiding it from recruiters but a few of them are able to slip in.
