Boys have not been told that and thus are ill prepared for the modern world (The book "Of Boys and Men" goes into this at length). This results in the boys who do not have drive, confidence, opportunities, or resources to drift into pits of despair, rage, and resentment.

EWU held a press conference today with full details of what happened with the shooter. Really a blessing and insane.

Basically a group of students observed him in the faculty parking behind the library putting on gloves and a tactical vest and flagged down a campus security officer (honored in the video). When the officer approached him the shooter was in his car and he then fled at a high rate of speed jumping the curb.

The campus security guy pursued him in his car and flagged down a state trooper but they didn't act fast enough to corner him at Dollar General.

The press conference actually starts at 29:25.

I've been saying for the longest guns shouldn't be readily available like they are so any nutcase can decide he hates a certain group of people and go out and kill them. It hurts black people especially since we don't go on mass white shootings. But brehs wanna keep defending how it makes sense to have weapons readily available. A lot of social ills can be stopped dead in their tracks if they shut down gun availability and leave it only to a select few. Now its like a nuclear arms race, everyone is forced to have one and everyone love their guns.

It's sad really, this shyt won't stop. I need to see stats on whether this sort of thing happens more frequently stateside than in other countries. I think the US is the only country that has guns available to virtually everyone.
