Sarah Palins candidacy as a vice president actually set out the blueprint for what Trump would do 8 years later. So in short, being an independent and thinking Barack Obama was inexperienced is really not an excuse to have voted for McCain Palin. You would have had to be extremely ill informed to do that. Voting for Obama went way deeper than him being black.
