Nah you got it backwards, a 2000 dollar pc will outlast two to three generations of consoles before needing a upgrade.He explains it perfectly.
$500 lasts you for 7 to 10 years on console.
Or you can spend $2000 for a gaming PC. and have to upgrade it every 4 or 5 years for an additional $200 to $300 to keep it current.
All for a upgrade in graphics which honestly , graphics are powerful enough on console. i grew up playing Mario on a tv with a dial.
a playstation on a 4k tv is not some awful experience that has me itching for better,
Anyways at a certain point graphics are going to be better than the human eye is capable of perceiving. Probably within the next 30 years. How are they going to justify a PC purchase at that point? When its literally impossible to tell the difference we will only be left with "ease of use" "value" and "Game Content"
All of which are boxes Consoles check out better than PC
Last time I bought a graphic card was to play Assassin's Creed black flag




Since I purchased it I already made atleast x30 the investment back.
