Lol! It can be. The nerdom isn't the issue. Blk people can and do like a lot of different shyt. For instance, I've always been into some fringe shyt.
But the difference between me and some other c00ning blk males and females is a.) I didn't feign interest in these fandoms to purposefully seek out non-blk mates, b.) I don't allow the overwhelming whiteness of these genres to influence my own desires (quite the opposite actually b/c I feel parched for blk representation in these fandoms), c.) I don't think my weird ass interests make me better than anybody else, d.) I don't stereotype my own race and pretend like there aren't millions of other blks with similar interests to justify a desire to date outside of my race because i don't sweat non-blks like that.
Environment plays a role in this because i grew up in an amazing predominantly blk school system. Most whites ignorantly assume that I went to a private school when I tell them about learning shyt like Japanese in high school which actually prompted me to teach overseas after I graduated from college. My school district pushed the blk kids in my schools in so many different directions so it was nothing for me to see blk kids doing "white shyt" (ridiculous statement) like hosting LAN parties, or holding comic/anime conventions at school, or participating in ballet companies.
So I'm trying to be a little less insensitive to c00ns who use the "blks ain't into the same stuff I'm into" excuse to dyck ride whites because if they grew up in predominately white environments (Good God I'd rather jump off a cliff), they may legit had to work with who they had around them in pivotal developmental years. The cognitive dissonance it would take to make them privilege the community of their race when said race either ostracized them or wasn't there is an insurmountable obstacle.
I'm a firm believer, even despite my own harsh critique of them, that c00ns are created not born.

People take labels to seriously, none of them matter really. I'm a bipolar, bisexual, biracial, knuckle head, and you wouldn't be able to tell based on my circle, family, and mostly importantly; how I live today.

You are combining a bunch of arctypes. There are many types of nerds but its rare to have all of the stereotypes smashed into one person.
For example I am a geek. A geek is a trivia nerd. The kind that has a database of facts and wealth of knowledge.
But I am not a doofus which is a clumsy nerd.
Nor am I a dweeb (a little brother type of follow you around clingy shy nerd).
The pocketprotector wearing square mathlete types are four-eyes or poindexters. Etc
A dork is a nerd whose sense of humor doesnt line up with the norm. They think things are funny that most ppl don't and miss references and jokes that are caught by everyone else.
There are other types of course... those are just off the top of my head. I had to catagorize social groups for a project once and nerds were one of the categories.

Third being smart isn't nerdy. An example of a nerd would be like someone you would see at comic book stores all the time. Not someone studying electrical engineering.
