The Truth
This seems to be the sentiment across the board, on all the blogs and videos across the net and irl, this seems to be the plight that a lot of these type of Black women and men are having, where they can't find each other willing to take a second look at them and/or date and marry them.

Henceforth what occurs usually, is that these types of folks who we need to be leading the way as in Healthy Black relationships are seeking mates outside the race, when there is no need to, if people would rid their minds of the pre coded stereotypes and preferences for thots and thugs..........:francis:

Wanting someone who is not a nerd, Not being attracted to nerds themselves and Having limited or no social skills and not putting themselves in a position to meet each other are all reasons for it. Some of it does have to do with being attracted to non black people also which could be because of past experiences.

Get called out for having trouble finding black women :francis:

Based off my limited experience, here's what I dealt with and have seen

1. Both groups aren't particularly desired throughout their adolescence nor do they deal with an entirely different social hierarchy. We still want the charming/attractive/sexy person with social status that we're all told is the cream of the crop so we overlook each other.

2. Lacking in social skills and social awareness. I know I was lacking in social skills so I jumped when a girl showed interest in me. It just so happens that the girls who would show interest and be vocal would be white so I assumed that white girls liked me more.

3. All those factors mixed with the white supremacy that's prevalent in the media that paints are other halves in a bad light start to reinforce those thoughts because humans naturally cling to things that they think mirror their experiences. "All black men are sex-crazed and aggressive who like big butts. That's why they didn't notice me!" "Black women DO want thugs and are typically abrasive!"

Thank god I went to a HBCU and stopped falling for the BS.

Women have the power of selection in 95% of the time. Even so-called nerd females that do their dirt on the low. Women can find dates if they really wanted to do so, just like men could get married, if they really wanted to do so.

Both sides need to get in the gym and get their physical attraction game up. Problem solved.
