We can pick "busts" at any school..what a player does in the pros is mostly how his skillset translates to the next level and what his drive is
Coleman was definitely lazy, but it's also true that a coach at both the high school and college level can instill new habits or reinforce old ones. Boeheim has been coaching for like 70 years and barely has any successful pros to show for it, which seems weird even according to sheer chance. John Wallace had a professional offensive game, he was instant offense - he just had no clue on D, and I really wonder if playing so much zone stunts some of these players' growth.
I don't think coaches are THE factor in all cases, but I do think they can play a significant role in player development.
it's actually funny. Dude ain't gonna be no lotto pick next year
So I guess them "wonderful women" and "rich Wildcat" lines are fake too, huh?
