I don't know if it's Boeheim's fault that so many 'Cuse players have turned out to be lousy pros, but it's definitely hard to ignore that so many of the talented ones underachieve and seem unprepared to play defense (that fukking zone doesn't do anyone any favors in terms of developing for the next level). I'm not a big fan of his.

Boheim doesnt get every top 10 player like Cal if you follow recruiting most players he gets are anywhere from the teens to the 60's he doesnt get no doubt about it pros he gets guys who have flaws and dont always translate and the few times he does get elite player in the top 10 ie Melo then they do what they do

Billy Owens and Derrick Coleman are two of the most disappointing, underachieving pro-prospects of all time though. I thought John Wallace underachieved too.

John Wallace was definiton of a good college player their was a reson he was picked in the high teens and the other two i agree but is that Boheim or Coleman being lazy and a waste of talent because thast who he was?

We can pick "busts" at any school..what a player does in the pros is mostly how his skillset translates to the next level and what his drive is

Noel was a great kid and he was in an impossible situation following Davis, but he definitely delivered... His ability to block shots was great, just watch that ole miss game...Also he has great hands, look at the steals he averaged...His offense was raw but he had developed a nice right and left hand jump hook...Also having young fragile aka Harrow, whiteboy walkon polson, and archie not getting him the ball at the right time/spot hurt his #s . I thought he should come back to work on a jumper and to bulk up, he isn't a 4 he is a 5.

After the injury he cant risk tearing his ACL again and not making it to the league

One and done rule needs to be demolished... Make a more profound rule like... Only certain people from high school can come straight to the NBA... Being top 5 in the nation etc.
