:wow: the dynasty continues

Dexter may have exited airwaves this year, but Showtime's serial about a serial killer cop is getting a new lease on life when all eight seasons arrive on Netflix. The first four seasons arrive on Halloween, with the following seasons expected by January 1st, 2014 -- two drops perfectly timed with mass video consumption around national holidays. Smart! Looks like Showtime's Anytime appisn't the only streaming option anymore.

The announcement is the latest in a long line of partnerships Netflix arranged with various content owners and creators, from the folks behind Damages to Disney. And that's to say nothing of the company's recent in-roads on original content creation: House of Cards,Orange is the New Black and Arrested Development are but a few recent hits in that department. Call us crazy, but we expect even more content announcements from Netflix before the holidays kick into full swing.

I recommend stopping at Season 4 for anyone who had never watched the show. It's all downhill after that.
I never understand why cats say stuff like this. So I'm going to invest 48 hours to follow the story arcs of these characters and then chuck the deuces with another 48 hours left?

Especially with the way season 4 ends?

Seasons 5 and 8 are legit trash but you don't stop reading a book halfway through:manny:

Season 4 would have been a more fitting ending to the show than the way it actually ended.
Dexter's chickens came home to roost and little Harrison was put in the same situation that birthed Dexter's Dark Passenger.

if you're gonna get into it then do it right and go all the way till the end. I don't see much replay value tho for the ones who have seen it.

Man and I just crammed in 8 seasons before it left on demand by 8/2

Watched 8 seasons
8 years of dexter in 2 months and it was a wild ass ride
Best part is, I liked every season but 8
People hated season 5, I loved it
People hated on season 6, I loved it
Season 7 was different with the big bad, but in a good way

Only weird thing I noticed while binge watching is at the end of season 4 detective joey quinn is looking like joey quinn.

Season 5 picks up Right where season 4 left off and it looks like joey quinn hit the ROCK Hard... (possibly with Officer Murphy)
Dude was looking CRACKED out
