Series like YYH that are very low fantasy with a "destroy the monster" level element can work in live action.

This. That was a nice live adaptation. IMO it's possible if the director ain't an idiot or trying to tackle an anime that's too crazy to make live action like One Piece.
Yu Yu Hakusho is my favorite anime

I can see how they can do non action/ non powers related animes like erased or monster. But shyt like YYH and DBZ arent ment for live action imo

i have never seen live action adaptations of anime that i liked. that being said, the fact that this is a japanese production at least means it wont be too cringeworthy...
