neither of those shows are accurate depictions of black life. let's not be facetious.Black people: We don't have any representation and when we do it's all negative stereotypes

Not accurate depictions of YOUR black life maybe. There's poor black people, there's middle class black people, there's rich black people, and there's extremely wealthy black people. Just because you can't relate doesn't mean it's not real.

I was born in LA, do you need to see my passport? I'm american, born and raised. I only know my mother tongue because of my mom but ive only been there twice (thank god) to connect with my roots. as for me, I'm american, but unlike you, I'm diverse, a very versatile cat. I can speak an african language (even tho its with an american accent) and I can talk that good ol cali turf talk.
