Netflix announced on Thursday that it is raising prices for its standard plan and premium plan for U.S. consumers.

The two-stream HD Standard plan will increase from $12.99 to $13.99 while the four-stream 4K Premium plan is raising from $15.99 a month to $17.99. The one-stream SD plan will remain priced at $8.99 a month.

All new subscribers will pay this price while current subscribers will see the price increase over the next few months, according to a Netflix representative who spoke to Variety. An email will be sent to all subscribers notifying them of the increase, and a notification will appear within the Netflix app 30 days before the price takes effect from that user's account. Netflix last raised their prices in January 2019.

even hulu doesn't have that unless u get the upgrade.
