people for this do know that Netflix has a household rule where you can only log in on certain devices right? Or do yall really not go anywhere? Who wants to verify certain devices every time and log out when you can just cast?

I’ll never understand consumers willingly talking themselves out of previous features

I’m in the central valley
It’s cold as ice right now
Breh, when I'm in Cali and it's "cold", I'm like :martin:

On our trip, we had a rental on the ocean in Carlsbad. I wanted to get in the ocean, but it never got hot enough outside, and this was the summer:russ: Got back to the IE, and it was back into the mid 90s:bryan:

U just pull up Netflix and use the qr code and ur logged in? Lol am I missing something?
I won't be surprised if they block that too based on your IP.

Because what if you sign it at someone else's house and then you can't sign back into yours at home bc you are signed in elsewhere? Lol

No reason to clap over a feature being removed. Do ya'll own Netflix stock? What do you get out of this.

Even then, how much of an impact would this have on subscribers to take the effort of enshytifying their product. Netflix has a lowkey monopoly since they're killing all the other streaming services. When it gets to that point, the money is in putting up barriers and not just improving since there's no competition.

its 2025 the app should be on your tv

and your hotel should have it on their tv
Do any hotels have smart TV's?

Every Air BnB I've used had a smart TV with all the usual apps (ESPN+, HBO, Netflix, Prime Video etc).

When I've gone to hotels, they all have some form of cable/satellite TV with local channels plus TNT, a few ESPN's, AMC and the different cable news channels. I like the cable option since it's cool to watch local news in a different city, but no one pays from premium shyt at hotels anymore right? Like a newish movie or HBO...I'd just watch it on the laptop.

Anyone know how this affects projectors?

You can get projectors super cheap and with those you can cast Netflix to them and watch movies while camping.
