That's literally gotta be a personal beef. Eddie is like the only black comedian who pops shyt about Cosby consistently.
Cosby popped shyt about him. Called him up n said he cussed too much, his act was filthy etc… Then he turns out to be a deviant himself

Super dope documentary. Eddie be doing it so effortlessly that you almost take for granted how insanely talented he is. His name is up in the rafters along with Tyson, Jordan, Whitney, Oprah and Prince. They all came out the gate around the same time and showed us what black superstardom was all about.
Eddie Murphy is like Michael Jackson to Comedians that came up after him. He’s probably in the top 3 of majority of comedians list. He even mentioned some thing like that how Muhammad Ali was a big influence on that generation because he was a strong influence and paved the way for strong figures like the ones you listed.
They have a serious history of beef going back to the early 80s. Bill hated a lot of black comedians that came after him. He also hated Eddie's impression of him lol

Which I get to an extent. I understand cracking a few jokes at his expense and I'm aware of the back and forth between them
But I also think did Bill ever really criticize him publicly? I'm just saying is Eddie off code?
i dont think bill chastise him publicly but there are other comedians that have similar stories to eddie's
1. I literally cried just looking at that crib and the retractable glass roof
2. For him to say he would be at parties and see the cocaine laying on the table and seeing people going in and out of one room and he was like
left me take my ass else where and says look how those demons got to MJ, Prince, Whitney… he said naw i want to enjoy my life
3. Him paying for red foxx, della reece, and few others funerals because they had no money at the end and no family was sad and made u realize people really not shyt

i didnt either but Val was down with Rick James and rick and eddie were tight. He said Val was a character and just acclimated herself to his entourage/fam/inner circle and she is one of the few left from that time that remained loyal..which I found sort of sad by the way. I guess if anyone knows some of Eddie's skeletons over the last 40 years, she would be one of them

I liked how he always made his due to give Richard Pryor his props when CAC media tried to always put them against one another by saying "Eddie the New Richard" .... Shut all that shyt up and put Richard in Harlem Nights
